Darkness Falls
Caleb Carruth
“Darkness Falls is a beautiful tapestry of acoustic guitars, vocal harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics...”
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

The Heart of Worship

One of the most common topics people write in to WalkDeep about, either with comments or questions, has to do with the topic of worship. It seems that people from all walks of life, with varying roles inside and outside the church, coming from all different angles on the topic, somehow know intuitively that worship is a core part of the human experience. People somehow know that we were made for something greater than ourselves.
    As one person wrote in,
“We are constantly giving ourselves to something.”
This WalkDeep conversation contains thoughts and expressions from people around the globe, along with notable quotes from leaders throughout church history. In addition, questions for reflection are provided for your personal use, or for times with a friend, small group, band, or leadership team.

May this fuel conversations about worship
in a way that connect us more deeply with Jesus,
more now than ever before.
